The long-awaited "Tamashi Special Edition" version of the EVA Unit-00 from Neon Genesis Evangelion has finally been released!

Eight months after the first Tamashii Spec EVA-01 release, this version is based on the redesign seen in the "Rebuild of Evangelion" movie series just being released in Japan.

Made of plastic and hefty die-cast metal parts, the redesigned EVA-01 is perfectly realized with incredible detail and plenty of joints for a wide range of posing possibilities. Its armor parts are removable to reveal EVA-01's inner body.

Weapons and accessories include a pallet rifle, gattling gun, progressive knife that can be stored in its left shoulder fin, an entry plug, and its umbilical cord.And you've got one of the best Soul of Chogokins in the in NGE series.

Featuring a non-metallic, anime-correct paint scheme, the 01 features all of the articulation and design from the previous version, but with one important difference: The EVA's outer armor can be removed to reveal the living being beneath it!

This new version of EVA-00 features an improved joint system that allows for a much wider range of realistic poses. Another cool feature is that all of its armor parts are removable to reveal EVA-00's inner body!
