In the mid 80's, modeler Kow Yokoyama scratch built models of retro styled fighting suits for Hobby Japan Magazine. These models were photographed in settings depicting the late 29th century, on an Earth still recovering from the environmental disaster brought about by WWIII. Kubrick of Japan has been making stylized figures of comic book characters for a long time. Now they bring their craft, style and quality to the Maschinen Kreiger world. Each fighting suit has a faceplate or lid that can open to reveal the pilot's head underneath. These figures are nicely detailed with some articulation. Each figure stand 3 to 4 inches tall. |
