Yuji Sakai is a celebrated Japanese sculptor whose works include large, hyper realistic Godzilla figures. In this, his 3rd series of mini Godzilla dioramas (scenes), he has again created miniature works of art. Each diorama depicts a moment from Godzilla films of the past in very exacting detail. Each scene is about 3 inches tall and up to 4 inches long. It is prepainted with a small amount of assembly required. Each figure is in a fixed pose with no aticiculation. Dancing Godzilla from 1965 has the monster jumping for joy. The body is held up in the air by a clear plastic post. |
